TET / TAT / HTAT Exams are mostly conducted by Education Department (Gujarat, INDIA) for Teachers recruitment in various government school in Guajrat's various districts. Before these exams, teachers recruitment was done through PTC or B.Ed.'s percentage. But now government of Gujarat has been decided to conduct these exams and teachers recruitment will be done through this exam's merit list.
TET / TAT / HTAT exams are competitive exams. Although these exams' syllabus are fixed and published by respective official board. These exams syllabus are mostly covering following topics.

- Current Affairs (National and International)
- General Mental Ability
- Reasoning
- Gujarati Grammar & Language
- English Grammar
- General Mathematics
- Theory of Education
- School Management
All above topics are actually part of syllabus for other competitive exams like GPSC, Panchayat board, Police bharti and others... but government has include some topics from education field so they can check candidate's teaching ability and other educational vision.
